I'd never wanted my blog to be public. but I can't seem to set my blog to private here :S well it doesn't matter that much I guess, since just a few of my friends know my url. :) So, Malam Seribu Bintang. Overall, it was OKAY and since i paid for only RM75, I guess it was worth it. but it definitely wasn't worth buying the RM150 ticket. like, SERIOUSLY. The food was all seafood. Imagine if there were some of the students who are alergic to seafood. Won't it be a waste? lol. But I like the 3 rasa fish. Thats what they called it, i think. haha I wasn't planning on going there since I didn't have the ticket and my mum won't let me buy one. I was okay with it. Untill, hmm last tuesday, Farhan asked me if I would like to go there with him. I felt SOOOO guilty to turn him down, so instead of rejecting him, I told him I'm not sure and that I will try :) Plus it's not that easy to find an outfit the very last minute :S but anyway, I told him I'd try, so I asked Naznin to help me search for a ticket. A ticket that's cheaper than RM 15O of course :p haha.
Well, eventually there was this Form 5 guy, Syazrin, who was SOOOOOO NICE to sell me his extra ticket for RM 80. And atlast, my mum approved :D She even gave me the money for the ticket and promised to take me out to buy an outfit. I was like, YIPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. :D and Khaidir too, was okay with me going there with Farhan.
Everything turned out to be alright until thursday evening, 2 DAYS before the Malam Seribu Bintang, syazrin called the deal off. He told me that his mum was planning to give the extra ticket to a cousin. I was so depressed. First, How the hell was I suppose to find a ticket the very last minute? well, there were some but the price have gone higher. Second, What was I supposed to tell Farhan? He said he wouldn't go if I was not going but I knew he wanted to go. I didn't want to dissapoint him. Third, How was I going to explain to Naznin? She's been wanting me to come so badly untill she even spoke to my mum and even pleaded her to let me go. Fourth, me,myself, and I wanted to go there so badly too. I didn't go to the Malam Sumbangsih before, and next year will be my final year, so this dinner will probably be the last school dinner before prom. So, yea, how depressed I was :/ but I was determined not to let anything bring me down. So I called Naznin and told her the whole story. She said that she still wants me to come and she'll do everything she can to get me a ticket. What a greatfriend she is :) I told the same thing to Farhan, and since he too had a problem finding a ticket, he decided not to come. So eventually my whole plan was ruined.
Later that night, Syazrin called, and asked me wether or not I still want the ticket. I told him I was, but now (that time) I don't really mind. and he told me that his cousin couldn't make it to the dinner and if I still want the ticket , he's willing to sell it to me. And once again, my whole world lit up except for the fact that it was already friday and I still can't figure out anything to wear. ahah but I didn't really care that much. I wasn't planning to stand out anyway, and according to my mum, just where something simple. I agreed :)
I told Frhan that I'm going and he told me he'll try his best to get a ticket. and yes, he did find a ticket. So everything went back to the way it was. Everyone was happy except Faiz 'cause his parents wouldn't let him go, and we promised him that we won't let him feel left out.
I went shopping on saturday morning for THE WHOLE DAY untill it was time to come home and get ready. Luckily, i actually found something decent to wear. Not really formal, but appropriate :) The moment i saw Naznin, I don't feel like going anymore 'cause she looked soo, shiny, and and preeettyy with an applegreen kebaya-looking dress. and I didn't wanna look stupid walking besides her. Plus, I was wearing PANTS! haha.
but oh well, it was too late to turn back anyway. :p
Everyone looked sooo prettyy, and and handsoome, and glamorous. And I was quite surprised to see Farhan, Syahir, Izari and Faeq looking SO cleaan, and neat, and really, they were attractive ;) haha. I didn't feel like i fit in at first, but i tend to be okaay a few minutes later.
So yea, I had fun. It really was a night to remember. With some memorable details that I don't think i should write it here. ahha but but there are some things that dissapoint me.
1. I was still hungry when the night ends.
2. I took less than 10 pictures! and and I didnt have a picture with Naznin, Syahir and Farhan, and Atiyah and and, well I didn'r really take pictures with anyone, except for one picture with Farah and one picture in the elavator with nabila and all. :/ Bummer .
3. Ijol got the 4th place, Wan got the 3rd place and that angela girl actually WON 2nd? wth. Unfair!
4. Hanisah went back early. I didn't even get a chance to hangout with her.
Well, thats just it I guess. In the end of the night, I was still happy . so yea ;)
