EDWARD SCISSORHANDS : Directed by Tim Burton. Back when people don't really know him :) He played the role of edward, a gentle artificial man who his creator died before having the chance to give him a proper hands, leaving him with blades as hands. He is taken in by a family who was touched by his condition. Fell in love with the daughter, kim (Winona Rider) and all the conflicts start. hahaThe boyfriend tries to frame him and yea stuffs like that (:
SLEEPY HOLLOW : Woot! Directed by yet again, his beloved best friend, Tim Burton :) He played a role as police constable Ichabod Crane who is investigating a series of brutal slayings in which the victims have been found beheaded. Yerkh. Scary kan? Well he fell in love with the daughter of the rich family he lives with while investigating played my Christina Ricci :D Even as he is plagued by nightmares he is determined to solve the legend of Sleepy Hollow. CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY : Well I think everyone has seen this movie. He played the role as Willy Wonka, the freakish owner of the mysterious and magical chocolate factory who has dark childhood memories. Nobody knew what was going on in the inside of the chocolate factory until a day where five golden tickets were given away and to whoever that gets it, will get the chance to have a private tour of the chocolate factory :) Well a young poor boy, Charlie is the only one among the five who didnt misbehave throughout the tour and in the end wonka reveals that charlie is going to inherit the chocolate factory after he retires. Saddening.
THE CORPSE BRIDE : He lend his voice as the role of Victor Van Dort. Victor is a rich man ad supposed to marry Victoria, whos family has recently bankrupt and is forced to marry victoria to a man with rich family. Although strangers, victor and victoria fell in love immediately. But victor'a clumsiness ruined the wedding rehearsal. And forced to rehearse his wedding vows properly. While rehearsing flawlessly, victor accidentally put a ring on a tree root that resembles a hand, only to discover that it is a hand, but a corpse hand! Then, a beautiful undead girl in a mouldy bridal gown, Emily, emerges from the ground and accepts his proposal, declaring Victor her husband. Scary. Brought him to the land of the deads where Victor found out that she was jilted, murdered and robbed while trying to elope with a mysterious stranger, and has been waiting for her true love to return ever since. And yea go watch the movie! haha
SWEENEY TODD ; The Demon Barber of Fleet Street : Directed by, oh well, Tim Burton. Plays a role as Benjamin Barker/ Sweeney Todd, a gifted barber with amazing skills. Falsely charged and sentenced to a life of hard labor in Australia by the corrupt Judge Turpin (Alan Rickman) who lusts after Barker's wife Lucy (Laura Michelle Kelly). Eventually Barker turned into this sinister looking barber and disguise under the name Sweeney Todd, and goes back to London to seek revenge for his broken family and cruel punishment. There he learnt that his wife was raped in front of many people and so has poisoned herself, and his teenage daughter Johanna (Jayne Wisener) is now Turpin's ward, and like her mother before her, is the object of his unwanted affections. Mcm !@#$%^&*( kan ? . Well yea. Todd vows to kill the Judge. :) Went crazy over one incident, and he killed every person who came to shave at his shop. A must watch movie.
THE PUBLIC ENEMIES : He plays the role as a notorious bank robber. Who somehow always finds his way to outrun the law. SO SEXY. Must watch movie.
THE IMAGINARIUM OF DOCTOR PARNASSUS : He continued the role played by Heath Ledger. Along side, Jude Law, and Collin Ferrel. :)) Well these are the only reasons i wanted to watch this movie really. Jude Law and Johnny Depp in one movie? Wow. haha
The latest, OKAY that were some of his movies that I love :) And hoping what my dad said was true. That he's going to be in this entertainment business for a loong time to come :D
